Passengers with special dietary requirements may make a request to Air China or to our sales agent prior to the flight and we will provide special meal services free of charge.

 

Request instructions

Please make a request for a special meal to us within the specified time limit.  Upon our prior approval, special meal services will be provided to you within the scope of our special meal offerings.
If you have special needs concerning in-flight meals for religious reasons or personal physical reasons, such as food allergies, please notify us of your dietary needs within the specified time limits.

Kosher meals are not available on all domestic flights or domestic segments of all international and regional flights operated by Air China.

Each passenger can only request one special meal (including special dietary needs) on each flight. If you travel with an infant passenger, you may request an infant meal for your baby.

On international routes to countries with predominate religious beliefs, including Thailand and India, our standard in-flight meals include pork-free meals, beef-free meals and Indian food. On these routes, we do not accept requests for special pork-free or beef-free meals.

On domestic routes serving Halal meals including flights to Urumqi, Yinchuan, Xi’ning and Lanzhou, our standard in-flight meals are pork-free Halal meals. On these routes, we do not accept your requests for special pork-free meals.

 

Time limit for requests

If you wish to order a kosher meal, please make a request at least 48 hours (inclusive) prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.

If you wish to order a special meal other than a kosher meal, please make a request at least 24 hours (inclusive) prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight.
